Kilmore Quay is situated 20 minutes drive south of Rosslare. Our members have travelled with Irish ferries for many years to this beautiful village, staying at the Quay House hotel who cater for anglers providing them with a wet room with gutting tables fridges and freezers. The harbour is a short walk from the hotel with many charter boats for hire. Two skippers that are very experienced in the area are brothers Dick and Eamonn Hayes who each have 38 foot off shore boat licenced for 12 people each 'log onto www.kilmoreangling.com. Fishing is excellent with Cod, Pollock, Ling, Bass, Coalfish, Wrass.
Fishing is very easy for the less mobile angler. Shore and boat fishing being accessible to all, see link www.kilmorequay.net
Although a small village there are plenty of pubs and restaurants providing good food at reasonable prices. Near the harbour there is a shop selling freshly made sandwiches for your trip and a boat chandler with fishing tackle and bait for sale nearby. Prices are comparable to UK prices.
